First off, the food was fantastic! We ordered drinks and the martini glass had lipstick on it. After we called attention to it, the waitress kindly brought a new one. The chef was very nice and brought us some complimentary soup. We then ordered our food and waited minutes Before seeing our waitress again. There were only tables seated in the whole restaurant, so we weren’t sure where she went. Just when we were about to leave, she came out of the kitchen and said they had “temperature problems” in the kitchen. When the food finally came out, it was delicious. Overall, the food was great. The service was really slow and the credit card machine was down causing even more delays. Our waitress was very apologetic, but didn’t flag it ahead of time we had to ask several times for an update. Also no modifications to the bill Despite poor service and delays. I’ve been before and it’s been a much better experience, but today was not great
Jimmy, the chef and owner, is such a great host. This is the second time we came to his restaurant when in town for business and we will do it again when we come back next year. We feel like home and the sushi quality is unbelievable. Thanks Jimmy for such a great experience
lunchtime in The Loop should be catered to a faster business lunch and found both the service and, strangely, the quality of the food to be mediocre
