Arcade Fish & Chips

I am appalled at the lack of service that was given to me tonight. After ordering 2 large fish and chips, I saw that on the receipt it said standard fish and chips. I enquired and the staff advised me they only have one size, after learning of this I ordered another bag of fish and chips for myself and my husband. After arriving at home with my freshly cooked take out meal, I started to unpack only to discover the portion size was of a child's. Myself and my husband continued to open the rest of the bags to find they were all small portions. We even counted 18 chips in one bag (I swear McDonald's give more than that!). The worst fish n chips I've ever had! The picture says it all... the chips were soaked in oil and inedible! Fish cake was over cooked, lacked in flavour and was also on edible...

I always buy my fish and chips from Arcade. The battered fish is beautiful and chips are crisp and hot. Service could be a bit quicker, but the meal is worth waiting for.

Visited Sun 7th May for the first time. Price was cheap but the portion size extremely small. Won't be back.
