If you're looking for diner-type food in a historic setting this is a great choice. It's right around the corner from the Civil Rights Museum so the location is great. Four vegetarians were able to order four different dishes which is always a plus in my book. I think the Greek Salad was the winner but everyone enjoyed their meals. The make-your-own omelette was fun though I got a bit carried away- don't go for the garlic add-on, too much even for garlic lovers. The waitress was kind enough to mention the biscuit gravy was vegetarian and there was no issue making veggie modifications on one of the sandwich options.
Five stars isn’t enough for this place!!!! We loved it! Great staff and ambiance, and even better food! My hubby had bacon, eggs, hash browns and biscuits and gravy, and he absolutely loved it! I had the same minus the b&g, and instead, had the french toast!!! OMG…the BEST french toast EVER!!! Can’t wait to visit again so I can have some more! It was sweet, crispy and oh so different than anything I’ve ever had! I mean everything was so delicious! Keep up the good work guys, can’t wait to get back to the area and visit again!
I grew up in memphis and my wife, and I traveled on a recent visit to the related in arkansas. we wanted to lunch at a place with fun people, good eating and a classic memphis feeling and arcade is definitiw all these things. and when they are out for the day, it is a simple walk to many historical and contemporary sights.
After waiting a good minute to give our order, we ordered 2 **** Marys... They were awesome. Almost like a personal appetizer! Then, the food came out quicker than I've ever seen. And it was great. Highly recommend the sweet potato pancakes and fried French toast. Very reasonably priced. Will be visiting again.

Yes very cool. I love diners so this was perfect to me, the food was yummy hit the spot after driving all night. The food was so good, if you love the diner experience like I do the old way you have to stop in and say hi. Oh yes they also have two booths that were regularly visited by Elvis and Punk Smiths
Restaurant was meh. The setup is cool and the menu is decent. Two downsides 1. Service wasnt good. 2. Food wasnt fresh. The fries, hashbrowns, and biscuits were several hours old. We sent those back. The food that was fresh tasted decent.
We ate dinner before the Tool concert. I am a huge Elvis fan, so I was excited to sit in Elvis’ booth! The food was good, service was excellent. It’s part of Memphis history and a must visit.
Very unique charming diner. Formica counter tops old bar stools. Food was awesome! Best grits I’ve ever eaten!!
