In this world, it's very difficult to find any wonderful friendly services!! Well, you will find that here in Archar Seafood. My husband Darren is a true foodie, and I'm very lucky to have him because he's also a great cook who always looks for fresh ingredients to prepare family meals. He found this place from the trusty yelps and we went on a 30 minutes ride to locate this place. Now, honestly it was not a easy place to find but once you found it and got inside the store... it's Amazing! Fresh fishes, crabs, muscles, clams and made to order lobsters. We arrived when the store just opened. Michael came out greeted us, and was very nice to help us with the order. Soon afterward, a line start...
Today was my first visit to Archar Seafood Market. I was very impressed with the attentiveness, professional, and kindness from the entire staff working. The market was very clean, organized, and well stocked with various different types of fish that were displayed. I've lived here in Somerset for 2 1/2 yrs coming from Durham NC. Micheal took the time to make sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase of Catfish( one of my favorites of all fish). I will definitely recommend Archar Seafood Market on Hamilton St. to many others.
Amazing!!!! Stopped in for some blue crabs, they were so meaty and juicy. It was our first (certainly not last) time. Owner Mike was one of the nicest guys ever. He gave my 7 year old a bag of shrimp for dinner this evening. Super nice guy, very business smart, and food was so fresh! Cannot wait to come back to try the sushi grade fish! Cannot recommend enough!
I was going to go to Newark, but I remembered that there was a hidden gem in Somerset. Boy am I glad that I did! Everything about this place is awesome. From the owner and employees, to the product, and even the customers. This will now be my go to for anything seafood related. Now let me go finish my crabs!
