My husband took me and the kids here for breakfast this morning and oh.my.goodness. The food, the freshly grown (in-house) ingredients, the people, the ambiance…everything was AMAZING and simply delicious. The cafe itself is so cute and inviting, too. We even bought a couple of pieces of the sign decor that their family hand makes. We had such a wonderful experience! Thank you Jonathan and Christina. Hands down the best cafe we’ve been to
The food, service, and atmosphere was AMAZING. Their food is freshly made and it feels light afterwards but with extreme unique taste. The owners greet you with open arms and super nice towards you. Alongside that, the ambiance is super homey. When I first walked in, I felt like I was coming into my own home with all these exquisite artwork and good food smells. I’d definitely recommend this place if you like good authentic food.
I always wanted to try this spot since I was in the high school across the street. I finally went in and it was delicious! The lady who took my order was super sweet and welcoming, and the inside is so cute! I got the Chilaquiles Verdes and my sister got a sandwich and the flavors were amazing! The iced Cafe de olla is to die for! I will be coming again.
I went for some mole chilaquiles and they were super delicious. Reminded me of my Mama Lolitas mole. She made the best in Boyle Heights...memories of my mom when she was here on earth. This is a lovely, clean, and peaceful restaurant. The food was incredible! It was my first visit, and I will definitely be back. I tried the Montecito sandwich for the first time and really enjoyed it. I highly recommend the teas as well; we had the milk jasmine tea and the penguin wellness tea.
