I’m pretty upset at this place. I get it’s Christmas, but common decency goes a long way. I took my family inside, where a man starts screaming that they are closed and rushes us out. The signs are all lit up as open, and people are inside the restaurant. He rushed us out, after we paid for 2 hour parking. I look back on DoorDash to make sure they’re open and sure enough, they are open until 11pm. It was 7:30pm. So I paid double to triple the price on DoorDash for “pickup”, after I had already gotten home and drove back up there a second time to get my food. What do you know? They’re suddenly open. Would not recommend this place ever. It took them a hour to bring us water and to take our order. there was only one other table with people, so not that busy in the store You could hear the microwave being used for delivery orders the whole time. They have mountains of cheap ramen noodles that I believe they are using for the noodle dishes on their menus. The whole place smelled like burned food and was freezing. To top all that off our food was poor quality. They added a 20% tip without our permission we would have not tipped! and a day later my date and I are very sick from that food. We went for lunch at 2pm during the week. All the lights were off, it looked closed. No music, there was talk radio on. It was freezing inside too, heat wasn't on. Husband ordered hot sake and he microwaved it. I heard it beeping and the man taking it out when I was near the bathroom and then he walked it over to our table. It was extremely hot when he brought it over. Does he not know that cooks out the alcohol!? What the heck. Our rolls were over $20/ea and were very small. The food wasn't bad but certainly was nothing special to note. Disappointing, overpriced, not even a bit professional. Go elsewhere.
I ordered the Salmon Poki. The flavor of the salmon was very tasty. However, I was hoping for a better quality meal and a reasonable portion. A little underwhelming of a presentation, given the price of $23.95. Thankfully, the salmon was very fresh and served with sliced cucumbers and chopped lettuce. The restaurant is cute and cozy on the inside and I did not wait long for my meal. I was the only person in the restaurant.
