This is the third time I have been to Argyle here and everytime I am dissatisfied. This time the service was surprisingly good, but the food was really just not great. Many of the dishes were cold and just not very tasty.I got the short rib tacos and they were cold. The french fries were good but thats it. All of our apps were room temperature or cold. Also, some of the things on the menu were unavailable. The server said they haven't had chicken pot pie in almost a month and a few of their drinks were unavailable. The only reason I ever end up going here is because there is always seating. Overall 73/100

This was my first time dining at Argyle Grill Tavern, and I really enjoyed it. The marinated steak sandwich was tasty, though a bit small and had too much bread, but the flavor was still great. The steak fries were decent, but the sweet potato fries were excellent. My fiancé’s burger was good, though she tends to be picky, so I’d like to try it myself someday. Our friends ordered fried calamari and a pork chop sandwich; they both liked their meals, except they weren’t fans of the fries.

This was the first time I sat down and ate here and it was really good. The marinated steak sandwich was good, a little small, and way too much bread but still tasted good. The steak fries were okay but the sweet potato fries were delicious. The burger my fiance had was good but she over kills it so I'd like to try it myself someday. The couple that was with us had fried calamari and a pork chop sandwich which they both enjoyed besides there fries.

What a wonderful discovery! Babylon was crowded, and since we didn't have a reservation, we decided to try Argyle. Just twenty minutes later, we had a table. The staff, and surprisingly even the other customers, were incredibly friendly. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality of food they offer, which is a definite plus. The drinks were fresh, strong, and served cold. Overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend it! Book a table now

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was enjoyable, and the establishment was very clean. I had lunch here with several colleagues from work, and we all had a wonderful time. The level of table service was just perfect. I highly recommend this place. We arrived at noon, and by 2 PM, it was already filling up with a good crowd.

The food was delightful. I particularly loved the sweet potato bisque, which was incredibly tasty. The prix fixe menu is definitely worth its value, and the portion sizes are generous. I highly recommend trying the pretzel with gouda cheese—it's absolutely mouthwatering. The desserts also added a wonderful finishing touch to the meal.

Located in the beautiful Babylon Village and the name Argyle is a top of the hat to the old hotel, located decades ago in the area. The bar and the dining area are nostalgic and well maintained. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was good. Enjoy the great butterfly Brezel appetizer.

The calamari was pretty good, but the Rock Steak felt like chewing on a rubber band. Our group of four ordered three Rock Steaks, so I anticipated something better. The wine served by the glass was also a small serving. The standout of the meal was definitely the potatoes. Book a table now

Taco Tuesday Special: The steak tacos were dry and flavorless, and while the shrimp tacos weren’t dry, they were just as bland. On the bright side, the sangria was excellent. It looks like some things here shine, but tacos aren’t one of them.
