I felt quite uncomfortable having to place my order from outside the restaurant, though I understand it’s a necessary precaution with rising Covid cases. When I asked the employee if she could come out to collect my card, she refused and insisted on taking the card number instead. As a pregnant and hungry customer, I reluctantly complied. However, she kept asking for more and more details just to purchase a breakfast sandwich—almost as if they were trying to collect everything except my Social Security number! Very disappointed. My first experience here a couple years ago was wonderful, not so much this morning. I understand having to wait outside for my one item order due to COVID but to wait 20 minutes and be given the wrong sandwich- which I only discovered upon my return my hotel- is disappointing. I certainly wasn’t going to make the 40 minute round trip back but asking for a hot pastrami/corned beef sandwich with mustard but getting cold meats (the only part I ate) with cole slaw and Russian dressing instead is unacceptable
when I first moved from nyc to the west orange, the argyle, made me feel like I had my back. I've been there since 2011 and always had a great experience. When I started out on site, I started using their amazing catering services for events and my staff always eat about it. they used them at this weekend again for a saint Patrick’s day parade and stewart and his personal delivered an amazing product. can not recommend it enough. Thank you!
I truly love dining at Argyle Marketplace! The food is excellent, the prices are fair, and the staff are very polite and friendly on the phone, provided you treat them with respect. Sadly, some customers can be rude to the kitchen team. The staff work hard, even during busy times, so patience is essential. However, when the food finally arrives, it’s always perfect!

From the moment I walked in, I had the feeling that I was being watched as if I were a potential thief, which was completely absurd. The man, who I assume is the owner, treated me with indifference, as if he suspected I was trying to steal a glass of water when I simply asked about the price of a bag of cookies. It was clear to me that he harbored racist attitudes.
As soon as I walked in, the delightful aromas of delicious food filled the air, making my mouth water. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Stuart, who was friendly, helpful, and quick with a few jokes. The restaurant boasts excellent parking, a fantastic location, and a wonderful selection of dishes, along with a really nice staff.
The guy who takes the order is very rude and he just hang up on me without doing the order l. They seemed overwhelmed but there is not reason to be mean when i was trying to order and he couldn’t hear and acted annoyed. Never again ???
I give a perfect score of 10/10 for their catering services. The food was delicious, and we received numerous compliments at our party. Additionally, they offer tasty chopped salads that make for a great quick lunch.
