Arigato Sushi - Table reservation

A local who doesn't try this place again. Tonight we wanted to make a fun family dinner for women. We went to ARIGATO. Last time we tried, they did not take reservations in the summer and had a long waiting list. Can you sit down by 8:00? So we went to Ca'Dario. Amazing dinner: We arrived at Arigato tonight. It wasn't busy. Do you have reservations? Oh? When did you take that? They said they could sit us only after 6:00. I feel a pattern here? We looked at all the staff and empty tables and went back to CaDario. My daughter mentioned a friend who worked at Arigato because the company management was so bad. We first tried Arigato Sushi when they were in the old place, a small hole in the wall of State Street. You are so much better now and we go every time we visit SB. Tuna carpaccio. I love this court. So refreshing. Fresh tuna with Yuzu sauce, grape tomatoes and lateral shrimp. Delicious. Hamachi carpaccio with warm EVOO. Really good, buttery and smooth. California rolls. Good real crab. Perfect thin layer of rice. Great. Good aal. Flavor blended nicely. U10 sea snails. Buttery, soft, melt in the mouth. Perfect. Engawa nigiri. Yuzu tai nigiri. ?Swinging roll? is brilliant. I?ve altered rolls at various restaurants to achieve this combination, but nothing beats Arigato. Their ambiance alone- a reason to visit. But let?s top it off. They?re patient, detailed and artistic in craft. Staff is incredibly professional and welcoming. And lastly, I love waking into a restaurant to see a clean, open kitchen. Every time I?m out of town, I miss this place. Dates, impressing friends, solo nights and take out. I?ll go here.

For me, it is one of the best places in SB to eat sushi, the location is great because you get the State St Vibe and get great food. If you plan to have dinner, I would recommend a reservation because it can sometimes be crowded. I loved the pan meerrot scallops, the ahi and asparagus role. If you like nigiris you should definitely try the yuzu pepper tai, the seered hamachi, the serrano kampachi and the grilled Shiiitake. Overall, I would recommend going here.

Amazing sushi. Extensive options, very fresh and the staff are fast and fantastic! It is usually very busy, so reserve.
