My son and I stopped for a coffee as the small place looked quiet and charming sitting near to the excellent and super friendly Belair, with the idea of maybe using it for lunch later. What a catastrophic mistake. The young girl serving was fine but as she took our order a bossy middle aged lady took over and curtly took our order for two coffees. I am fluent in French and had forgotten to ask for milk which I did when she delivered them with a plonk on the bar. That lit the fuse...she went mental. We were dumbfounded with her aggressive response slamming the milk on the table and muttering expletives which I actually understood. We necked the coffee standing up and paid with the idea of get...

This is our favourite spot for morning coffee/vin chaud/beer, and for a ski lunch in Courchevel. Our favourite table is the one at top of the slope, with the best views. Service is friendly and quick, the drinks are well made. They serve a plate of their own cheeses which are all delicious and different, and charcuterie too. You can come for lunch but should make a reservation. You don't have to be on skis it is a 2 minute walk from the top of the Ariondaz bubble lift. A perfect spot. The dog is friendly too!! We have come here now for 3 years in a row, can't wait for a return next year. Just note, they only take cash.

Maybe we were at a different place! We came by on skis just down from the Ariondaz bubbles. They couldn 't have been more welcoming. We had a cheese plate and a charcuterie plate and an excellent soup. The farmer/cheesemaker couldn 't have been more friendly, and gave us an extra taster plate. You could have sat in the sun on the terrace and enjoyed the view, but we preferred to sit inside. We 'd come over from Meribel and would have liked to return...

During a walk in the mountains we passed this restaurant/cheese farm. The aim was to buy some cheese, but even before we were able to ask a question we were sent away by the very rude owner without any reason! So stay away from this place and buy the delicious beaufort in another 'alpage '. There are a lot of friendly cheese makers in the valley.
