Came here for the 2nd year, as part of my partners Work Christmas function.We both ordered the 200g Rib Eye steak with gravy and asked for well done. The plate was presented nicely, with Kipler potatoes, battered Onion Rings and a small salad. The steak was still pink in the centre unfortunately. This is not just an Arkaba failure - most hotels don't cook it properly and we're not sure why. Perhaps using a meat thermometer might help? Despite that, we ate all the steak that was cooked (which was lovely and tender) and enjoyed the accompaniments very much. As it was called sportsbar...i went there to watch a cricket game...as thought it was sports on every screen when i went it...i ordered for chicken schnizel (which was ok)and salt and pepper squid (which was not crispy but very mediocre)..front of the house staff specially one chick looked pissed off and not guys (no matter whoever ordered)..drunk guys everywhere around the pub..bad experience!!
Horrible service from Tasha, she was rude, didn't bother to check that the group we were meeting with did have a section booked off. The fact that she complained to a co-worker that I wanted a copy of my bill after she walked away with my eftpos card and didn't let me see how much she rang through of course I want to see it. With custom service like that I won't bring my group back.
Can't deny this place for a decent sports set up. Great for a punt and they'll often have all the major sports on.Also support local sports teams and supporter groups.Food is very decent also.
