The way to the rooftop terrace reminded me of my first time at Palladium in NY. You go up through so many little niches a few steps and finally the majesty of Mojácar lies before you. If you think the view is great, just wait until you taste the food. Top kitchens, experienced staff, incomparable wine list... Did I mention the views? If more than 2 get a reservation. The grilled octopus is divine. the croquettes are divine. Idiazabal cheese is amazing. Finally, I got the Goxua Arlequino, which is a flan on a piece of sponge cake. No AMEX and pay down on the way to the outside, just hold on to the handrails.
