that is a real gem of a restaurant. behind the small outer is a spacious and comfortable escaping area. the food is excellent: fresh ingredients prepared in an unusual, imaginative, but unfussy art and wise, with decent portions. local weine play a roll on the list, with inventive cocktails also available. service is attentive and friendly, but inconspicuous. the prices for dinner seem somewhat high, but are the same with the high-quality venues in the city, and they are more than fair in view of the quality of the meal and the overall experience. this place is definitely worth a booking for a special occasion.
The restaurant is located in a pretty pedestrian street, not far from the Cathedral of Saint Caprais d'Agen. We arrived early, we were installed on the terrace. At the beginning the reception was a little cold, not a smile, fortunately that it came over the service. We took dessert dish and 2 drinks each, wine and beer. The note was consistent. The dishes were good, well presented though a little complicated to present a copious kebab. The tastes were rather mastered. The kebab pig was tender, melting. A little bit of spices to my taste. We had a nice evening. Careful, mosquitoes.
We arrived late in Agen after a cancelled flight in Bordeaux. Having been turned away from a lot of restaurants which were close to closing, we were welcomed at Arome. The service and food was beyond brilliant, my favourite meal of the entire holiday! They were so kind and even made a mini dessert for our one year old daughter. We were rescued by Arome and I would happily eat there every night! Thank you so much.
Surprising restaurant in the centre of Agen! We had an amazing dinner... great service and very good food.. burrata with watermelon and green tomatoes, veal with celery and wasabi and a very good meat; Tigre qui pleure, formidable! Best coffee in town! We suggest everyone this amazing restaurant!
