I have eaten here several times in recent years, it looks like they have moved to a larger place that is very beautiful! I associate them with very spicy amounts of food and the flavors are also good. I go to Thai dish in general is her spicy basil (pad krapow), and they tend to have a darker sauce. Their only “the” heat level is probably the “hot” level of many other places. Maybe that's because I wasn't so familiar with the new situation, but I wasn't able to find out just parking and ended up finding it on a side street nearby. Try this place if you like spicy Thai food!

This Thai restaurant serves the worst food we have ever tried. We ordered Pad Thai and Spicy Basil, both with chicken. The Pad Thai was overly sweet and tasted like it had too much peanut butter. The Spicy Basil lacked any spiciness and tasted more like a dish from a Chinese takeout place. The chicken was dry and chewy, and the overall lack of authentic Thai spices was disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning. Service: Takeout Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20-30 Food: 1/5 stars

I have a crippling addiction to panang curry, and the hand rolled ice cream is so good. Service is so nice, and it's just a great place to bring friends and talk, or on a date. Wheelchair accessibility: Just a slight bump at the doorway and then you can roll up to a table. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Pork Panang Curry, Summer Rolls, Rolled Ice Cream, Basil Fried Rice, Curry Puffs

Maybe the best Thai in North Jersey. Always call to reserve as it is a small place and you are not guaranteed a table. If you ask for something extra sharp, they will ask for a number 1-10; 8 is hot. The service is very friendly and they take inquiries, they have a Thai basil fried rice for us, for example, which is not on the menu. Let room and time for rolled Thai ice. They have traditional flavors and more American. Book a table now

That was my first time here. I was in the area and went to Google to find top rated restaurants nearby. I love Thai food and this look really sweet and picturesque with great menu options, so I decided to stop. The staff was attentive and friendly, they recognize you and let you know that they are right with you. I ordered the Crab Stack and the spicy basil chicken. The food was so tasteful I enjoyed it.

The absolute best Thai restaurant hands-down in terms of food, and service. I have been ordering from this restaurant for years and I have a seafood allergy and everything always arrives perfect. I had an issue with a delivery company and the restaurant noticed right away and contacted me and made everything right. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more

The Thai Elephant is an excellent institution. The food is absolutely wonderful and the service is immaculate. The staff treats us amazingly and are so friendly. To be specific, a woman remembers me every time I go and knows exactly what I want. Really amazing people, 10/10 recommend!!!

Great food as always. Looooove the Rolled ice-cream. The Iced thai tea was amazing and the steamed vegetable dumplings were lovely! I don't remember the name of my entree but it had pork, vegetables onions and white rice. Book a table now
