I had never went but my sister wanted to go and I didn’t know what to expect. Let’s just say I was disappointed. We arrived with a reservation already booked, yet we found our table already occupied by another set of people. Waited a solid 10 minutes before finally being seated. We felt cramped and squashed in our table. And I know this isn’t the restaurants fault but some lads were making an incredible amount of noise: disrupting the evening drastically, the staff who took us wasn’t friendly and we seemed like we felt we were an inconvenience to her. My food which was a pasta thing. Took ages and the meat get cheap and microwaved . The food was disappointing. Expensive and small portioned....
We dropped in by chance without a reservation early eve/late afternoon and staff were extremely accommodating. It was our first time here, the server explained it was based on a tapas style but you could order a large dish if you wanted instead of the small dishes. Everything was perfect, probably one of the best meals we’ve had. There were so many delicious options that we picked 5 small dishes, they were quite substantial so could clear the plate of salt pepper calamari. Had not been for some time due to Covid and advancing years but were treated by our son Tony.. very lucky to get table even at 5pm in the evening. Will make sure to book next time. Was Tony’s firs visit and as a braininjury survivor he can present staff with some challenges! Need not have worried, staff are amazing. Great personalities. Beautiful meal. What particularly impressed us was the attitude of staff to people they had to turn away. The receptionist recommended The Oliver, a competitors restaurant. Apart from the fact that our grandson is a chef in the Oliver it was brilliant to hear and see local businesses supporting each other.
Went to this restaurant with a group of friends. Lovely atmosphere and good friends but food not good. I ordered the tempura chicken. Noodles weren't nice and the chicken was battered definitely not a tempura batter though. Had anyone asked was everything okay with our meal we could have said but the staff didn't ask. Disappointing

Recently on a trip to Ireland and have family in the area. The food is fresh, beautifully presented and scrumptious. The staff are gold star with a special shout out to Aiofe for finding space and having a laugh with us. We ended up going there four times in three weeks. Cannot wait to visit again!
Goats cheeses salad was amazing! I’m looking for an excuse to visit Newry again just so I can have this salad again! Staff were very helpful too with the WiFi password. Top marks all round!
A regular, favourite spot in Newry. Food is fantastic, excellent staff and a great atmosphere. Also recommend for takeaway if you're having guests date and want something a bit fancier!
Great choice of tapas type dishes. Between the two of us we had 6 different dishes and each was as good as the last. Really friendly attentive service. Will definitely be back.

Food and staff amazing. We ate 2 nights here as was so good while we stayed in Newry. Highly recommend. Pasta one night and duck next evening. Prices are very reasonable too
Food was excellent but the staff were just amazing. So attentive and great craic which you don’t get too often these days!! Can’t wait to go again very soon
