"We went to a fantastic venue and saw an amazing band named Stone. However, we were disappointed to find that a pint of San Miguel cost £8, which is why I am only giving it 3 stars. It is outrageous to charge such high prices and it should be against the law. It doesn't make any sense to me."

I have lived in Liverpool all my life and did not know if this place. Totally anonymous on the outside but step through the front door and into an historic Liverpool jewel. The walls are covered with oil painted portraits of the Club's Presidents from the 1840's to the present day. I was in a group of 42 friends having a belated Christmas lunch and we had such a fantastic time we've already booked it for 2021. Food great, staff very attentive and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone seeking somewhere different to have their function.

I went to a restaurant for an event and requested a specific drink, only inquiring about the bitters available. Instead of informing me that they didn't have it, the bartender and his colleague criticized my choice of drink and even made insulting remarks about my age. The focus should have been on the limited drink selection rather than my personal choice. As someone who has managed bars in music venues across the country, I would never condone such behavior from my staff.

As usual Mr Cope was very entertaining but this has to be the worst music venue I have ever attended . Tickets had been massively oversold meaning many people left or had the choice of viewing the concert from the top foyer through a sea of heads .From this vantage point you could hear the music but Cope's monologues were mostly inaudible .Good job their was no emergency evacuation needed as it would never have happened . Terrible venue .

I attended a Potter Payper gig last night. The queue system was well organized, COVID checks were thorough, and we were able to enter smoothly. The door staff, especially a man named Steven and a lady with short blonde hair, were excellent. The gig itself was amazing, but I found the bar to be quite expensive - £6.35 for a can of lager! However, the bar staff were lovely. Overall, it was a fabulous night.
