Was a little worried when i drove out to the old neighborhood and saw the breadstand wasnt there, happily enough a couple blocks up the street the new (breadstand) Arties, which come too find out is also combined were arturos! So the best bakery in new jersey combined with the best brick oven pizza around to make this amazing restaurant, and all baked goods are just as amazing as a i remember, they still have THE BEST! Almond croissant ive found anywhere besides nyc. And the cinnamon roll is if you love brick over neopolitan style pizza too there your best bet, im personally a tratt guy(maplewood og) just out of nostalgia but arturos was by far the best real pizza in mapso. You gotta check...
We 've been coming here for a few years now, and this place is a treat for us. Arturo 's is a very popular place and they have very limited seating inside, so if you want to dine-in, be prepared to wait 45-60 mins during peak times. The staff here are super nice, we love them all. Excellent wood fired oven pizzas. Everything here is made from scratch. They try to only use locally sourced foods and it shows in the quality. This isn 't your typical 'jersey ' pizza, it 's more like awesome New York pizza, but stepped up a few notches. Very much worth the wait to eat here, you won 't be disappointed
I was misled by server Bonney when she falsely claimed that grilled mushroom toppings was not available for order. When I asked, she stated, We no longer do that anymore. This lack of honesty has made me question the integrity of the service at the restaurant. I was able to receive the same item by another server. I am disappointed by this experience and will be more cautious in trusting information provided by the staff in the future.
The excellence of the food and service attracts a sophisticated crowd of diners who generate a lively hubbub of conversation. Sadly however Artie’s feels the need to add upbeat music to the mix, which raises the noise to a level which provokes folks to raise their voices. It’s a vicious cycle which causes some, like me, to strain to hear, check their phones, stare into space. It’s uncivilized. Book a table now
The food and service here are impeccable!! Besides the pizza, the pasta is great. The waiter staff are super helpful and attentive. The noise level is a bit louder than I would personally like, and the parking lot is always packed during dinner.
The food is average and overpriced. The flavors don’t really blend well together. Limited menu for vegetarians. The restaurant is super-loud, can barely hear your company. Not sure what the hype is about.
I think they do offer a good pizza, pasta was not that good and not worth the hype in my opinion. Have outdoor dining. No dogs allowed inside. Service was average. Limited parking.
Waiting like 30 minutes, nobody came over, finally they brought the order as Togo when I initially told I wanted to dine in. Very bad experience. Book a table now
Always an amazing experience at Arti’s, been a going since 1 year and it never disappoints me, always the same authentic taste of Pizza.
