We were seated in the rear outside area of the restaurant which was very pleasant. We ordered and when my starter arrived it was not what I’d ordered. The other 3 diners had finished their starters (carpaccio of veal and Iberian meat salad) before my quinoa salad arrived. I felt a bit pressured to eat quickly, but wasn’t expecting our mains to be served when I was still eating my starter. In fact, the waiter served my main course and I had to move the plate away that I was still eating off. My pasta with clams main course was good. My husband’s turbot was average with a glutinous leek sauce that didn’t complement it. Our adult sons were mutinous that the cannelloni they were served was a sin...
We came here quite a bit for drinks and lunch tapas while visiting Girona. The place is in the old town and has a lovely chilled vibe. We found the service each time friendly and wine prices really good. The lunch tapas menu was quite ordinary but we didn’t mind given the quality of the interior, service and the chance to recharge after wandering the beautiful old streets of Girona
Awful and cold service. The one young server never cracked a smile and acted as though everyone was imposing on her. Even getting our bill was a challenge and the wine I had by the glass was pretty bad. Beautiful building and space but otherwise awful.
