I've been eager to try this restaurant, but my experience fell short of expectations. I ordered the fried chicken and mac and cheese for $25, and I found the portion to be quite small. I have a lot of respect for the food industry; I've worked in it myself and understand the costs involved, so I was disappointed to see such high prices for a meal of low quality. Additionally, there was a sign stating that credit card payments would incur an extra fee, which is acceptable. However, when I attempted to pay in cash, they couldn't provide change, forcing me to use my credit card and absorb that fee myself. I wish them the best, but I won't be coming back.
To make matters worse, she later came outside and told me not to get comfortable in her chair, even though she didn’t come outside until an hour later. I was appalled. Given this experience, I can't believe I even considered supporting her business through catering or takeout. Customer retention is essential for any business, and she has definitely lost my support. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely pathetic service!
I was at Ashada's soul food restaurant for an event and let me tell you, the food was amazing. The Mac/ cheese was one of the best Ive ever had, the fried chicken was seasoned to perfection and my absolute favorite the sweet and spicy wings. I am in awe just thinking about it. Will certainly be back!
Asahda's Soul Food restaurant truly offers absolutely DELICIOUS cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors and generous portions. Furthermore, the owner was delightful and very courteous. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back. Thank you, Kent.

Asahda's Soulfood is an awesome restaurant. Really good people and really good food. I will be back again. I was on vacation with my wife celebrating our anniversary and looked up a good restaurant nearby by way of Google Map. We both we're satisfied and happy that we did!
This establishment does not follow it 's advertised schedule and is frequently closed during it 's open hours. Staff is VERY rude and makes you feel as if they are doing you a favor by being there.

This place is a front or part of tax scheme. That’d be cool if they didn’t want $25 for a 2-piece that marginally rivals Colonel Sanders.
