Had dinner here, consisting of mushroom soup for both of us. I also had the fish patties with salad and potatoes au gratin, and the husband did sausages and sauerkraut. The soup was great, and the service was reasonably attentive. Sausage was not memorable according...to my husband, but he enjoyed the sauerkraut as above average. My fish patties were densely packed and mild. There was no lemon or sauce to punch it up a little, so I dug out the lemon wedge from my drink to give them some tang. The potatoes au gratin were homestyle and good, and the salad was a nice fresh taste counterpoint to the fish and potatoes. All in all, a good place to eat dinner and at a reasonable price

had dinner here, consisting of mushroom soup for both of us. I also had the fishpatties with salat and kartoffeln au gratin, and the man did sausages and sour wort. the suppe was great, and the service was reasonably attentive. the sausage was not after my man, but he enjoyed the sour wort as in the average. my fish were tightly packed and mild. there was no lemon or sauce to blow it a little, so I cleaned out the lemon wedge out of my drink to give them something bang. the kartoffeln au gratin were in house style and good, and the salat was a beautiful fresh taste counter to the fish and kartoffeln. all in all, a good place to eat and to eat at a reasonable price.

During our annual trip to Passau a friendly shop keeper recommended Anton to us. It was a cool and rainy day and when we entered this cosy establishment we knew we made the right choice. The restaurant is located in a lane in the old...city. We were greeted by relaxing music, candle light and a beautifully decorated restaurant with vaulted ceiling. The menu is based on seasonal ingredients and the daily specials were excellent. There is internet and a choice of local papers and magazines to read. The staff is young, probably students on part time but they were professional in their conduct and offered gracious service

Anton was a recommended stop on our Viking River Cruise and it most certainly did not disappoint. Our group of thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere as we enjoyed lunch in a lovely courtyard. The food quality was as our group enjoyed both traditional German...dishes and fabulous vegetarian plates cheese dumplings on the best beet salad I have ever had see photo below Book a table now

I have been here a couple of times. The cakes are very tasty and staff is helpful and nice. Food I didn't find it particularly good. I specifically tried curry and would not recommend it. It did not taste fresh. My friends ordered other things...and were not very happy either

I found Anton as I was walking back to my hotel from the Dom. The menu was nice and my pasta with chicken breast and pumpkin sauce was yummy. The drinks were good and price was fair. Service was a bit too slow for my...taste, but very kind, so I left a nice tip

Anton's make their own schnapps. We went for coffee, cake and schnapps. The wild plum schnapps is best I ever had and the apple crumble cake was excellent. . Service was leisurely which considering we were only customers not served was surprising

This was a highlight during our city tour in Passau. Super beautiful place in the courtyard. Made with great attention to detail and good food for little hunger. You could also eat delicious homemade cakes. It was very impressive. Book a table now

Rather than lunch my wife and I stopped in this quaint little coffee shoprestaurant for some Bavarian apple strudel and Irish coffee. Both were excellent. Service was very good. The temperature inside was very warm
