We have been here before and generally are very happy with this restaurant. On this occasion we had lunch with family. The restaurant was busy as is usual for this restaurant and indeed the whole village. We ordered the bruschetta, and although it was busy I was disappointed with the length of time taken for our food to arrive. Also one of our party complained of the the toast and tomato being burnt.Otherwise we would still recommend and will return.

Located right on a busy corner in the middle of the hritage town of Richmond, Ashmore have provided lovely food for many a year. We would eat there probably every 2nd visit to Richmond, typically a delightful lunch or afternoon tea, often of the Devonshire variety. The food is well priced, and the staff are attentive and friendly. A nice log fire helps keep things nice and cosy in the Winter time.

My friends and I meet regularly at Ashmores for lunch. The food is excellent, with a good selection, including dishes which cater for the vegetarians in our group. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is welcoming and the restaurant is warm on a cold winters day. Staff have always been pleasant and attentive. Would thoroughly recommend for a light lunch or just a coffee break.

Poped in here today for a quick coffee and cake and I was not disappointed. The chocolate cake came served with cream and ice cream and it was fantastic. The coffee I orderd was of equal standard, and the warm and welcoming service made me fell at home.

A lovely place to enjoy a morning coffee and tea accompanied by scones with mulberry jam and cream. Spot on.Service was friendly and efficient. We are lucky to live in Hobart and Richmond is just a short drive away so we will be making a return visit.

My Australian friend loves to eat at this restaurant, so we tried. The food is yummy and the price is reasonable. There are some nice paintings selling there which are drawn by kids with special needs. Book a table now

First we installed the benches on the terrace facing the sea, where we enjoy a glass of champagne After this little appetizer, we joined our table.
