Viendo las fotografías en redes sociales y opiniones previas, nos imaginábamos un restaurante de cocina de autor, e intuíamos que no sería barato, pero parecía muy apetecible. Sin embargo, hicimos el pardillo: al llegar ya nos resultó sorprendente que el local estuviese casi vacío, con un par de personas en la barra y televisiones con el fútbol por todas partes... y lo que vino a continuación nos sorprendió todavía más. La camarera nos informó de que no trabajaban con carta, sino con las sugerencias del cocinero, que no eran más que los platos clásicos de un bar de raciones (raxo, chipirones, pimientos de padrón, secreto... . Los platos fueron servidos con rapidez, pero tanto la presentación...
Tomamos algo el dia anterior y comimos al dia siguiente en este lugar cercano a la playa pero un poco apartado del frente maritimo de Mera. En las dos ocasiones se respirarba un ambiente familiar y relajado, muy propio de esta localidad a las afueras de A Coruna que desde luego merece la pena visitor. Nos hicieron hizo a mi familia y a mi sentirnos muy a gusto comiendo en su terraza y sobre todo los chipirones estaban especialmente ricos. Es un sitio al que te apetece entrar y vale tanto para tomarse un café como para disfrutar de su terraza de dia o de noche.
We went for a cocktail last night. Not many people. The cocktails were delicious and it took a while to make them... it could be because it was late but I saw it as a little dirty and neglected... I don't know, I think I'll come back another day to try their menu, everything looks very good and at that moment I will evaluate it again. The mango shake is delicious but a little loaded, the vanilla shake is normal, the daiquiri with a lot of ice and the strawberry shake is very very delicious. What yes, the decoration is very very cool, you feel in Ibiza hehe
Pub restaurant with a very good atmosphere and romantic atmosphere. You have a wonderful covered terrace. All the ingredients to make it work well, but something is missing. Organization? El sitio por fuera parece que tiene buena pinta pero no puede estar más sucio. Las mesas y las sillas son blancas y estan negras. Y todo lleno de telas de araña. El trato sin más ponian pinchos y a nosotros no. No volveremos y no lo recomendamos para nada. No os dejéis engañar por la fachada.
the first time I stop in this place, it looks pretty good, a nice and generous terrace, although the tables for my drop are very above others, I would have to see when the terrace is full. the service neither fast nor slow, the only bad thing about the coffee. But good is better.
