In February 2023, I've been a regular customer at this restaurant for four years and have consistently enjoyed both the food and service, which is why I’m giving it a five-star review. I had a wonderful meal again today, but I was taken aback when I saw the bill— I was charged for an extra bowl of rice, even though it was the same amount that's usually served with the dish. The server mentioned that because there were two of us, they had to charge for the second bowl. However, he didn’t mention this when we were ordering or eating. I’m not sure if this is a new policy, but it would have been nice to have been informed about the additional charge for something I hadn’t requested.
Online ordering very easy. Their prices are much lower than many other places around. (everything getting so expensive) Tried hunan chicken minus celery, had good flavor, although chicken and some veggies seemed lower quality. General tso also similar, chicken seemed a little on the cheaper chewy side but good flavor. Lunch portions are less expensive, but you do not get eggroll and seems like less rice. Would recommend lunch and dinners combos if you are looking for some budget friendly Chinese.
I ordered food from this restaurant for my wedding reception, and it was a hit! Everyone enjoyed it. The cuisine is very authentic, hailing from the Dongbei region of China, but they also offer American Chinese food options. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, especially Ms. Li, who was fantastic. She provided great suggestions and really wanted to ensure that we had a wonderful experience. I give it double thumbs up!
I’m happy to see they have dine in again. Occasionally I get carry out here and it’s good but dine in is much better because it is fresh and hot which makes a big difference with some of the more authentic Chinese dishes. We always order the 麻婆豆腐, 地三鲜, and dumplings. Best authentic Chinese in this part of town. Also the service is very good too for a little place.

Order off of the TRADITIONAL menu only, and it will ruin your experience at every other Chinese restaurant. The food is incredible. Try the cumin beef. Also they have a veggie dish that is green pepper, onion, and eggplant in a sauce. I didn't really think I liked eggplant until trying this dish. Absolutely the best Chinese food I've ever had.
First of all...if your Chinese spot doesn't have that cat waving at you, or the workers sitting down eating when you walk in??... it ain't authentic and you might as well leave. This hole in the wall gem is awesome. Service is great. Food is great! Portions are great!
Love their fried potatoes-pepper-eggplant, as well as candied sweet potatoes. Also like their cold shredded potato salads. The best part about their vegetarian options is that, they are not meat replacement, but dishes which tend to be vegetarian by default.

The food was absolutely dreadful. The lo mein had an inexplicable sweetness to it, and the chicken was awful. The mei fun was supposed to have shrimp, but it clearly did not. I would rate it a 0 out of 10.
This is a cozy little restaurant with food that's slightly above average. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. It's definitely worth a visit.
