Such a cute place!! If you want to eat there for dinner make sure to call and make a reservation as there's only 4 tables inside. Very very cute aesthetic and staff was so friendly and prepared our food fairly quickly. The food overall was SO FRESH, you can clearly taste that and I really love that. We tried the money bags, shumai, pad Thai w/ shrimp panang curry with chicken as well and Thai icea tea, lychee lemonade and lemon ginger tea which was all phenomenal. The drinks were really good and I'd come back for those alone.Mango sticky rice was SO YUMMY; one of my favourite desserts.Overall a 10/10 easily and I'll definitely be back, even if I just pick up and go which seemed to be popular...
I had previously dined here and found the food to be incredible, truly one of the best places for Thai flavors. Unfortunately, it seems those days are behind us. It appears the restaurant has a new owner now. While the decor has improved and there’s more seating, the flavor of the food has completely disappeared. I ordered my usual favorites: red curry, drunken noodles, and sesame chicken, but they all tasted remarkably similar—bland, lacking in flavor, and dull in color. I'm not sure what happened. Perhaps it was just an off day, but it was disappointing.
I was excited to try a halal Thai option as we do not have many in northern va. I must say I was underwhelmed. The hostess was very nice and the place was clean and tidy (although no restrooms). However the food was lacking in flavor. Thai food is known for flavor and I’ve tried dozens of restaurants, but this felt watered down and bland. The spice levels were all over the place. Mild seemed like they omitted spice altogether whereas medium was way too spicy. It was worth a try but flavors need a major revamp.
I originally had no idea this was a Thai place because it was just called Asian Joint. But I was so happy I tried it, the food was incredible. I ordered there often, then they closed for a while and I was worried. They reopened, adjusted the name and menu a bit and the food just was not the same. I assume the chef changed since the same dishes were just not good. I remain hopeful because I did love this place, and will try a couple more times to see.

The food is delicious and the service is quick. I ordered the fried fish mango salad (Yum Plakrob), and it was fantastic—a perfect blend of sour, spicy, and umami flavors. I highly recommend it! The crispy wontons are also excellent, and the fried rice is tasty as well. The presentations are beautiful, and the portion sizes are generous for a great price! Their lunch specials are an amazing deal!
Very nice little cozy halal Thai/Chinese ???? d restaurant,very conveniently located on main street right off lee hwy,the owner is a very ???? ce Thai lady who makes authentic Thai dishes,their drunken noodles were very nice,and so was their basil fried rice,would highly recommend this place
Those curry puffs.... Good lord. Delish. Green Curry was really nice. Green Papaya Salad was really nice. Super fresh and no shortage of fish sauce,but really well balanced. I'll order spicier next time. Chicken Wings are the jam! Glad to add this place to the rotation!
Great Thai and Chinese food. Everything is Halal there. They have limited seating capacity. Pick up and to go are more preferable.
