"We popped in here for a coffee and an early grey tea after a long walk! Lovely little place, beautifully decorated and maintained. The service was excellent too. Very friendly, welcoming and warm. We had the chocolate and salted caramel tart, it was really lovely! Service was fast. All in all a great place to visit."

Lovely ambiance, attentive staff, but they're still finding their feet. The food was pretty good, I had the beef roast which was cooked excellently but had an unwelcome flavour of thyme overpowering everything. I like thyme with chicken, but not beef. My (7yo)daughter's smashed avocado starter was not smashed, and I chose to believe that the carrots were cooked and that's why they were so soft. When my daughter tired going to the toilet, none of the cubicles had toilet paper. The staff were very responsive when we told them, but a restaurant at this price should be on top of these things. It's probably just teething issues as they're still quite new.
Even though it was quiet during a midweek lunchtime, we had a fantastic meal at this restaurant. The service was attentive and the mussels I ordered were exceptional - some of the best I've ever had. They were deliciously fresh and plump, and the sauce was divine. The chips were also excellent. The only downside was the rather dark and austere back area, which could use a bit of sprucing up in terms of design. However, the food and service were faultless. I will definitely be returning and I wish them success in the future.
Trying to live up to the hype of Côte and existing great restaurants, AH is still going through teething issues, e.g new staff and the right menu. However, the restaurant has all the right foundations to be successful if given a chance. On a Friday evening the staff tried to be attentive and food was palatable and the ambience was pleasant! Hopefully we can support the local business on its new found journey.
The food at this restaurant was excellent. I ordered pasta with grilled chicken while my son opted for the Caesar salad. Both dishes were delicious and reasonably priced. The service was outstanding - the staff was attentive, polite, and friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant, both indoors and outdoors, was very cozy. I highly recommend this place!
