A busy night because of a music gig nearby and I expect it caused extra pressure in the kitchen. Our starters arrived at very different times, but with an apology. My partners pasta was divine, as was the garlic bread and beetroot and goat cheese balls with chilli dip. Sadly my main was on a stone cold plate with cold broccoli and a little pot of cold sauce. The ‘roast’ baby potatoes were simply boiled new potatoes which had been flattened on a pan to blacken and burn them. Worst still they definitely tasted of fish, I expect that the same grill/implements were used for both. However the actual chicken Milinase was tender, crisp on the outside and very tasty. I went there with some friends for a birthday meal for one of them. We ended up waiting an hour and 45 minutes for our food, and the manager didn't even have the decency to apologise to us. I don't know in what world anyone thinks that's an acceptable amount of time to wait. The waitress was then quite aggressive in trying to have us pay the service charge, even going so far as to demand our names and numbers so that she could give them to the manager. I didn't quite get as far as telling her what she could go and do with herself. This is an unacceptable way to treat customers, and I'll certainly be taking my custom elsewhere and will encourage everyone else to do the same.
We booked Ask Italian Beckenham for a special occasion celebration dinner, with a large group of friends. Shemsi looked after us all very well. He organised a seperate private area for us, took our orders in advance from the set menu main menu. There was lots of variety, with good vegan vegetarian options. The service was quick and attentive. The food was hot delicious. The venue was stylish spotless. We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I highly recommend Ask Italian Beckenham we will return. Thank-you Semsi for a great evening. We will be back soon.
Five of us came here for a family lunch on Thursday. Make a reservation as it can get busy. Service was very friendly and nice. Music was a little too loud for my taste and unfortunately our family was sat underneath the speaker. They did offer to move us but my 91 year old Mum didn’t care to move! Food was good although it could have been a bit hotter, and coffee was great!

I had a very lovely time with friends, the food was delicious and the service/the team was just perfect! We were a large group, they set a special place for us to eat all together and we had our food well prepared and served very fast as well. Just what I needed for a memorable moment. Been to this restaurant for years as my children like it. Last visit the prawn starter on toast was dry, the prawns small and almost impossible to remove from the shell and the toast inedible. The pasta main was ok but very small portion for £16. The waiter gave me the wrong bill and proceeded to chase after me like I was a thief.
We go to ASK in Beckenham every year for our office Christmas lunch. We went yesterday 20 of us, everything was perfect as always. We were looked after so well and the food was absolutely top notch could not be faulted and generous portions. Thank you so much everyone, we all had a fab time!
The food quality at this restaurant is decent. I would recommend avoiding the calamari fritti as it is mostly batter and lacks flavor and moisture. On the other hand, my sister enjoyed the burrata, which was much better than the calamari dish.

Celebrated a family birthday for 10 yesterday. Had an amazing time, from start to finish the service was excellent from Besmira she took care of us and the food was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and made to feel very welcome.
Had a wonderful experience dining with my family here. The food and ambiance were fantastic! I would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again soon when I'm in the area.
