This is carry out only right now; however, if you need a place to enjoy your sushi, the brewery next door works out great! In fact, the very nice lady actually brought our food to us when it was ready. That's fantastic service! The sushi itself was very fresh and flavorful. The spicy crab salad was perfect! They have a lunch special until 2:30 on Saturdays which was an unexpected bonus and very appreciated. We will be back!
The experience was satisfactory, but nothing more than that. We ordered the spicy maki set, a vegetable roll, miso soup, edamame, and fried rice. To be honest, my husband thinks the fried rice from the grocery store is better than this one, which was mediocre at best. The sushi was decent, but nothing exceptional and not really worth the price. The miso soup was surprisingly small. Overall, I wouldn't choose to return.
I frequent this superb restaurant every couple of days as I enjoy the special air that is outline this restaurant. The crew is exceptionally cordial and experienced. The service is impressively efficient. Most important, the food you get is perfect. I frequent many times and I was always pleased. The price is modest. I highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
I’m writing this review a bit late, so I hope some of these issues have been addressed. We ordered the Sesame Chicken, and it was extremely dry and tough. Additionally, the food was cold even though we picked it up right when it was supposed to be ready. To make matters worse, it was quite expensive. Unfortunately, we won't be ordering from here again. This sushi was absolutely fantastic! I ordered the miso soup, a volcano roll, and a New York roll, and everything was amazing. I just wish there had been a bit more tofu in the miso soup. I highly recommend it if you're a sushi lover. There are also great options for those who prefer non-raw sushi.
A truly disappointing experience. We ordered takeout and the sushi came pre-soaked in some mystery sauce. The rice was somewhat stale, the the shrimp was over cooked and the batter was on it was soggy. We won't be returning.
There are only two people working here, and only one of them is cooking. If you bring four friends, you could easily take over the place and start your own restaurant since they don't have enough staff to stop you.
The taste and quality of the food are exceptional. The staff is professional, friendly, and very accommodating. I looked extensively, and I can confidently say they're the best in Kansas and Missouri. Book a table now
This is the best spicy crab salad in town! The rolls are always fresh and the prices are very reasonable. It’s one of our top choices for sushi takeout.
