From the things we tried, there was nothing worth finishing: - liver (goat and beef) was dry, - ravioli with spinach and ricotta had not more than 2% spinach, - the salad leaves were so huge and dripping with sauce, impossible to eat without staining the clothes. Next day we were in a different Italian restaurant in Potsdam (near Charlottenhof) with a surprisingly similar menu, it was an order of magnitude better. For example, ravioli with spinach and ricotta indeed had both and were delicious.
This restaurant is exceptional and a clear example of getting what you pay for. I was absolutely thrilled with the freshness, quality and bold flavours of the dishes I sampled (see photos). Service was genuine, hospitable and very friendly. The only downside to my experience was that the restaurant appeared understaffed which meant we had to wait to be attended to after finishing our mains. However, this was insignificant in comparison to the truly excellent meal I enjoyed.
Attentive and goiod service, but the highlight is the food. try the antipasti platter. even for one person is in gigantic and flavourful. Priced fairly, this is a high quality, good value restaurant and it should be on your list of to-do's
Very authentic and charismatic service paired with fantastic Italian food. Fresh delicious. I had the pleasure to share that meal with an incredible person, but even sad and alone it would have been magnificent. Book a table now
Very nice restaurant in the corner of Luisenplatz. Friendly and fast services. Foods are as tasty as they look. Only downside is if you want to drink wine from the wine list, you have to order whole bottle.
Assaggi might be the best restaurant in the centre of Potsdam. Great Italian food and prices are moderated. It is a very lovely place to eat after a day trip to Potsdam. Very much recommended.
We had 1 day to travel the area and we decided to stop here for lunch. The dishes we ordered arrived looking great, with fresh ingredients and very good taste. We enjoyed good lunch.
Superb service and even better food, irresistible desserts and a perfect aperitif. I'd never heard of tagliatelli neri (black) but it was delicious. Book a table now
