We were promptly seated for our 7:30 reservation, but the service was disappointingly slow throughout our nearly 3-hour meal. The restaurant did comp us a dessert plate, which was a nice gesture. However, the real issue arose when we ordered chicken Milanese instead of veal and were still charged the veal Milanese price of $50. When we brought this up with our server, he claimed that the system only allowed for one price. This was unacceptable to us. We will not be returning to this restaurant, as they failed to provide adequate service and then charged us incorrectly. This is not a good way to run a business, especially in a competitive area.
We stopped in here for a late evening dinner, and were not disappointed. We ordered aperol spritz cocktails and skipped an app beyond the bread and oil which was great. Entrees were the lasagna and the carbonara and both were just excellent. We finished every last bite and can't wait to go back. Our waiter was lovely, service was quick and friendly, and the ambience in the restaurant was lovely with the windows open on a summer evening. Lovely!
Everything was delicious great but our waiter did not check on us after he dropped off the food. We wanted to stay have a second drink but instead he dropped the bill and pretty much kicked us out. I would understand if it was busy but there was only 2 or 3 other parties there.
Assagio offers delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. The only downside was that the waitstaff seemed a bit disorganized - we waited 20 minutes before someone came to our table, and every request we made took longer than expected. However, the food itself was excellent!

It was alright service was pretty good food was good but the basement just wasn’t very nice to be completely honest didn’t really look like a restaurant more like a friends basement but can’t complain about anything else
Food was good. The service was excellent. Portions are large, I wish had split something. Tiramisu was delicious. It is rather expensive, but not out of line with other North End restaurants.
Excellent bar, food, service and decor. I would not hesitate to return. Party of four all had different apps and entrees and everyone loved what they ate.
There was a fly in our drink and our waiter didnt remove it from the bill or suggest to fix it, but beyond that food was great quality
