I'm from Chicago. I'm a local truck driver and i deliver in this area. I always pass this place up because there's always a long line, and the parking lot is always full. Well , today i bit the bullet and decided to jump in the long line. To my delight, the line went by fast, and my order was taken and i was served promptly. I ordered the club sandwich, and it was amazing! And from what I was looking at while i was there, everyone was eating something that looked even more fantastic than the last dish i looked at. Different sandwichs, different pastas, different salads, it was like heaven. They even have pizza by the slice. This place is a gold mine ! I will be back to try the rest of the me...
The food I ordered was great. I kept it simple with a soup and salad but the flavors were awesome. I had a Sicilian soup and a grilled chicken spinach salad. The dressing was delicious, the soup was full of flavor. The parking situation is tight during busy times. Also, I had a small group order and they failed to pack a sandwich. I had to return to pick it up and was a bit disappointed that nobody even apologized for their mistake. The food will definitely have me coming back though.
Asti does an amazing job with their salads and sandwiches, using the best and freshest ingredients. I have been eating here for the past 10 years and it never disappoints. The food is delicious and I can't get enough of it. Once you try their sandwiches and salads, you'll never want them from anywhere else. The restaurant is also very clean inside and out. I frequent this restaurant more often than I care to admit. They have the best sub sandwiches hands down. The staff is friendly and dependable. I have never been disappointed with my order at this place. During lunchtime, the place is always crowded for good reason. I frequently see Chicago police officers stopping by for lunch. This restaurant is perfect for a quick lunch. The interior is lovely and there is plenty of seating available. I tried the Italian dish and it was absolutely delicious and made with fresh ingredients, from the bread to all the toppings. I will definitely be returning.
Asti is a great local lunch place! It's about 1 mi. west of o'hare on irving park road. Their freshly prepared to order sandwiches and soups are delicious! Service is always quick and the staff brings your order to your table. You cant go wrong if you chose Asti!
Mimi is absolutely the best if you have any problems with the food. Obviously, I have had problems at times, (eaten here over 100 times) her solution always addresses and fixes my concern.

Can't go wrong with any Menu item. Last visit had Fried Cod sandwich with lettuce cheese on sub roll. Excellent!
