Was down in this area for a hockey game at the ice rink up the street so this was on our way home and we decided to just stop here for a quick bite to eat. I will see the place has plenty of parking as well lit up and it was clean inside. They have a very big menu for being a diner what?s a very good selection of food anywhere from appetizers all the way to seafood platters. I can only speak to the food that we ate the day we were there. I ordered my benchmark breakfast of eggs, bacon and potatoes with pepper onions. Everything came out perfectly. The toast was pre-butted, a plus. It was a standard size place instead of a huge rectangle of bread, also a plus. I prefer a little thinner, but this is a nite. You can only order 1 egg if you want. I added one side of fruit consisting of freshly cut melon, apple, strawberry and pineapple. The portion size was just right (between a small parfait and a large bowl). This is my wife and I favorite diner in the area to the point we tell everyone about it, now her parents love to come out to Aston to eat there. I enjoy some of the dinner items including the Buffalo wings but the breakfast is the standout. You can get one order of French toast and share it between two people or get your own waffles. You get a good portion of sides but I enjoy the bacon and the home fries. Check it out when you get a chance.
Friendly staff and great food! Temperature was spot on. Fried calamari were tender. Perfectly seasoned. Only the chicken wings in the appetizer sampler were a bit oversalted. The gyro was good, as were the various hot sandwiches.
