I visited Astoria Fine Gourmet Deli for the first time this week and had a great experience! I ordered the Astoria-style sandwich, swapping Swiss cheese for provolone, and really enjoyed it. It only cost $5.50 and was prepared quickly. Prawan at the register was very friendly, and it was an affordable option for a late lunch. Next time, I’m planning to try their smoothies and juices!
Ordered a bacon egg cheese. all the bacon was in two bites, and the sandwich was really greasy. like more so than the typical nyc bec. Also, the guy griped under his breath about me not saying good morning first... where the f are we?
The imagination sandwich was quite tasty and had a generous portion size. They followed my special instructions, but the packaging could have been a bit more careful. Overall, the prices are good.

It was quite good! I used a coupon, which allowed me to enjoy a 50% discount on the meal, making it well worth it.
