Visited this restaurant yesterday evening for the first seating, and having looked at the menu beforehand online had already decided on the Goleta menu, which was some 15/16 taster courses! We would have probably been tempted to select the smaller menu had it not been for the Goleta extensively featuring fish and seafood which we loved, so that was never in doubt. We were the first to arrive that evening, promptly at 20.30 which may have been a bit too keen! We had a warm welcome, and when it was apparent that we only spoke English, our server was appointed who was able to lead us through wine selection and the menu. We’ve been to Atalaya twice this year, the first visit was superb with truly exceptional food. The second visit was less successful, the langoustine dish had changed and wasn’t anywhere as good. The major problem for us is that the menu and wine list are only available through a QR code. On our second visit the food we were given was different to the online menu and the wine we had previously was no longer available. Trying to translate the online menu only to find something different in front of us was very confusing! Can we please have at least one printed menu and wine list for the table.
We went from castellón to eat, tasting menu. We live in the United States and we have tried many restaurants in many areas, atalaya is excellent to deal with so many customers and excellent food. If you are going to try the tasting menu you have to have time to enjoy it, don't hurry, 13 dishes take their time and enjoy them for longer. well prepared dishes and specialities of the area well chosen, with excellent olive oil and a good red wine. go to the watchtower to enjoy the food. highly recommended.

the food was fantastic and the chef's staff and treatment were 10. We ate the menu for a first contact, but we will take the menu again, which is the long one. It was a total success!
The best tasting meny I have ever tried. The meny was superb, very good food. The service was excellent and we enjoyed every minute. I can strongly recommend Atalaya in Alcossebre.
