Terrible. If I could rate them 0 stars I would, and we didn't even eat there. We had a large party (of 12) and we were excited to eat there, and even better it wasn't that busy at the time. However, it started down the wrong path the moment we walked in. The hostess said it would be a 30-40 minute wait and we offered to split up to make it easier and that didn't change anything. It was almost as if they were annoyed we were there for no reason at all. So we decided to stick it out and wait. A few minutes later the management came out and asked us to wait outside. With young children and seniors, and it being very hot outside, we asked to have some stay inside... with a lot of pushback and so...
Started off poorly, wasn't greeted in a reasonable time at all. Tried to get a bartender involved in getting greeted, complaint ignored, then asked for a manger and my complaint of not being greeted was dismissed with the excuse that the hostess was getting a table for someone else. I don't mind waiting to be sat but greet me within a few minutes and tell me you will be right with me. Once you get past all that I came in for the prime rib special. Your choices are 2 sides or a salad, so because I want a salad it counts as 2 sides so I get a piece of meat and a salad that's not a prime rib special dinner. Honestly wasn't even that good. My waitress was kelly she served us our drinks, took her 25 minutes to come back to take our order, and that was only because my husband finally asked the bus boy where she was. They weren't busy, maybe 10 table occupied. My coleslaw was warm, and my lobster roll was dry. I'm not sure if she was having a rough day, but she shouldn't take it out on customers.
Enjoyed our visit, the food was a smaller portion than I expected for $25 and no salad included. Also was disappointed no lemonade, had run out. Good stop for an early dinner with kids. There was an ant on our table. Waitress was efficient but not friendly. A table of 5 or more that came in after us and ordered after us got their meals before we did. Ok overall.
It's close to the beach and away from the more expensive Thames Street establishments. Busy place but the service was fast friendly and efficient. Food was good and it's own parking lot.
I think I need to say nothing. Awesome place breakfast. Opens early. Then u walk off ur breakfast.
