We've been in France a number of months now. Four Americans, all with passable to more-than-passable accents in French, were at a late lunch. I can only assume the waiter thought himself to be a very clever fellow as he repeated our grammatical mistakes back to us word-for-word and also tried to imitate our accent(s). We will remember the Atoll Café Brasserie --- there it was the first time in France that we had been treated so poorly when we spoke French. The Atoll Café Brasserie is in a mall and I suspect not many foreigners visit there, so our experience may not be relevant to its clientèle. The food was fine, quickly served, the right price, in sizeable portions.

We tried a range of the food which was well cooked and very tasty Saw the early review about the staff. All I say is they were more than helpful and friendly and understanding of our basic French. Would visit again. Thank you to the waiter for the evening, good to see a smiling face.
