Lunch plat du jour was duck á l 'orange, plus a 1664 beer. Quick service. Always a good idea to go for the dish of the day. Good authentic sauce (with thyme brush). The duck was a bit firm when it should be falling off the bones. Nice ratatouille, very good chips but the bread was tight and poor, unforgivable in France. Excellent little espresso. There was a woman smoking in the covered area, who had come from a shop over the road. Judging by all the kissing, she was well known to the patron, so that might happen every day. Good value at €13.60 all in.
lunch of 13.08.17. 6 reserved covers, terrace meals. Although the brewery was complete due to medieval festivals on the commune, the crowded team, and that in the evening the establishment closed for the holidays, the welcome was friendly, smiling and the unique dishes served of good quality (room of beef or andouillette with delicious homemade fries) . Correct bread. desserts pana cota or compotée rhubarbe correct. good value quality price. ideally located in the center of cliff to visit the tourist sites of the city on foot.
A generous buffet of starters, with charcuterie and salads. Two option 'menu ': I had the roast pork. Then buffet of cheese and then dessert. Oh, and coffee. 12euros. Could barely make it up to Williams castle!!
Excellent quality and value lunches. Buffet entree and dessert. Very busy at lunch, which is always a good sign. Attentive and helpful waiter.
