My wife and I happened by accident to eat here when in Cambo les Bains recently. We sat ouside on the terrace and were treated to the most delightful of lunches. I had a vegetarian tart and crudities which was wonderful. My wife had a curried chicken flan and salad which was also superb. Our deserts were also excellent. when again passing through Cambo 3 days later we again stopped for lunch. It was just as good as the first time but we went for their home produced raspberry flan for desert which was a great choice, lovely.The service is good with very friendly and helpful staff. We stumbled across this delightful café/restaurant after traipsing in the rain in search of somewhere open for lunch and were so glad to come across it! This “Tarterie/ Salon de Thé” is a very cheerful place, quirkily decorated to the smallest details (the bill holders are small watering-cans). It offers a selections of tarts (or quiches), savoury and sweet, one more enticing than the other and all freshly made. The service was lovely too and we left the place all refreshed and chirpy. Definitely seek it out if you are passing through Cambo-les-Bains!
a simply superb tea room, for me the welcome is very important when I come back to a place: karine and eric are super nice it welcomes you with the smile and my daughter that you love Eric she loves coming here for the pop and churros horns, the cakes are delicious, a decor that I love is a very comfortable place and I feel like at home when I come to drink my cappuccino if you are
we arrived hungry, enjoyed the pies - several types (I had the Senegal 'dish of the day') - and we were delighted with the desserts: Ice cream in a coffee and I had the works - see photo Monday afternoon and it was crowded - lucky to get table at the back - with folk song accompanied by a cellist

Exceptional service and fresh food. I recommend the corgette and chevre tarte with salad x2 ..delicious! They also have a daily special for around 8.50 Euro which is very good value as it is freshly made each day. The deserts are mostly tartes and artisan icecream are amazing.
It's in the Cambodian that we find ric and karine. the reception is jovial and warm, the bosses are in small care. tasty pies, garnished and quality. our Friday noon canteen for sure! very soon
Most tables are on the pavement, quite a quirky establishment. Excellent quiches and salads and mouthwatering desserts. Ideal place to stop for a light meal
