It's a shame to have discovered this bakery only at the end of our vacation. We took cold envelopes for the return, they were pretty good. The Basque cake was really great, the best I've been tested so far. The ducks were also very good. We went there a Saturday noon, and there were many people, but the service was pretty fast. Unfortunately, we couldn't taste pastries, but they were very generous and made a great desire.
We discovered this gratifying bakery this year passing in front of and seeing many people. We took a strawberry pie to eat with friends, it was a murder, a party. Very good strawberry, a succulent paste and a delicious cream. We'll be back without hesitation. We'll try the croissants, they're the best in the department.
This place was highly recommended by our hosts, as a world class bakery. Certainly some of the tastiest baguettes I've ever had perfectly crunchy on the outside, and delicately soft in middle. Best eaten fresh on the day of purchase. Terrific selection of cakes...and pastries too.

Amazing bakery and patisserie near Bidart. Opens very early so it's a good spot to have a coffee before your morning session. Highly recommend: cafe au lait, croissant normal, almond croissant, any type of tartlette and (of course) the gateau bask.
I have had a lot of Gateaux Basque and this is definitely the best around. Both Creme Cherry are delicious. And the strawberry tarts are my favourite. We come as much as possible each time we are in Biarritz, you MUST visit x
On the main road with parking. Bread etc. Menues combining sandwiches etc. After hr. Great Pizzas, better order. They also make the traditional Basque cakes which are excellent ... cherry one for me was the best.
Good pastries. Every year for his birthday I order and pay a cake that my little son comes after. So even from a distance I offer him his cake. Book a table now
Great for the early birds, La Licorne opens really early and bakes wonderful pastries bread, one of, if not the best in Bidart Guetharry...!
