Went to this restaurant on its TripAdvisor rating. What a mistake! Arrived about the place is very shabby. Was being run by a young brother and sister. We were the first customers. Had the euro menu. Starter were fine salmon tartare and poached...egg with fois gras. Then a long wait for the mains. Trout came undercooked and cold with a large mound of lumpy mash potatoes instead of beans( they had run out but failed to mention) and confit duck which was very small and came with greasy chips. The trout was sent back and returned eventually over cooked after a rather slow microwave. This was followed by a small cheese course and a good crepe brûlée and coffee. Beware they do not take credit car...
Like a previous reviewer we had a pretty awful experience. Not many places open on Sunday evening but find somewhere else. The only staff were a pleasant waitress (who gets the extra point) and a young lad in the kitchen who was evidently out of...his depth. Horrendously overcooked steak and a soggy bottomed pizza. Judged by other reviews we were unlucky but this was awful.
We returned to this restaurant after a visit with family in August.The food is such good value,the chicken curry pizza is exceptional .The hosts were good and with our limited French made us very welcome.
