Unless you are coming by canal boat, it takes a little doing to get here. I don't think we would want to be on the back roads at night. But for a luncheon destination, if you are looking for a nice meal, it is a worthy destination. The menus are fairly priced, well prepared and served by a young wait staff that is friendly, earnest, but a bit distracted. There is a decent wine list, not overpriced and a fairly good array of choices for each course. The foie gras terrine was far from the best we have ever had, but ok. Our main course and desserts were more to our liking. When the weather gets a little warmer, it would be nice to dine outside. The dining room is comfortable otherwise. We don't...
