Au Moyne de Saire restaurant in Reville is a lovely, French journey to wonderful food. We have been visiting Barfleur for several years and twice a week travel through the countryside (a 9 minute drive) to experience the outstanding dishes prepared for hotel guests as well as visitors who wish to experience classic French cuisine. They have standard operating hours from 12 to 1:30pm and 7 to 9pm, but check their website for any changes. Our favorite dishes are: Huîtres Chaudes Beurre avec Algues, Turbot Poêle Beurre Blanc Crème, Poisson Noble du Moment, Soupe de Poisson et a Garniture, and for dessert, Profiterolles Glace a la Vanille Coulis de Chocolat. We booked to stay and eat here tonight on our weekend away. We were not disappointed everything was top class, I had the Oyster and Turbot with the Chocolate Dome. My wife had the smoked salmon, seabream and creme brulee and it was served up with perfection. . Its a good start for our weekend away.
Set menu at 23 Euros was fair for the region. Good service ,nice ambiance and good food.No English spoken ,but we quite enjoyed that. Cider too expensive at 7euros for a small bottle
It's a place in a quiet little village. When I'm in the area, if I can stop. the quality of food is always good. the kitchen is classic and pleasant
