My husband and I always miss the food we had in Chengdu so we always like to try out new Sichuan resturants in Paris. Quite often the case is the longer the resturant is open the more likely it adapts its taste to please the local French make it sweeter, less oily and less spicy. We ordered several basic Sichuan dishes today and they all tasted close to the authentic although still not spicy enough. However, the service is below the benchmark as the waiters don't have much service mind. Be careful with using coupon there. 蜀园. Alright, if you enjoy Mala (a kind of numbing spicy chinese food), I am sure you will love here! We ordered a signature dish and shared among 2. It's spicy so just eat it slowly and all is well. We saw others ordering other dishes but this was something most tables had! It's known as Ti Ti Ji.
