Au Pur Beurre is a restaurant-salon de thé-patissier that also serves a reasonably priced range of hot dishes at lunch time, many with an Indo-Chinese slant. The hot dishes offered good value for the location and the set price menu allows you to select one of their patisseries as a dessert - excellent! I had a Vietnamese style duck with bamboo and rice, followed by my choice of patisserie, which was an apricot tart. As it was lunchtime, they were happy to serve tap water to drink.
After touring the Chateau, we picked up a millefeuille and a Paris-Brest here, and took them to eat in the Pere-Lachaise Cemetery on our way back to Paris. Excellent pastries, and friendly service.
Very pleasant, Pho d'enfer soup Completed by a raspberry pie on macaron to fall on the ground. Heteroclite menu and varied French day dishes. Why not published?
It's a must do....eat a crepe under the Eiffel tower...and banana/nutella no less! The crepes were great and it was fun! Book a table now
