A chaque fois, je suis véritablement enchanté !La patronne est super. Elle est vigilante sur le confort de ses clients, veille à ce que les enfants se sentent bien. There is nothing arrogant about this place, a trattoria a province restaurant, with a wooden oven in the main entrance. Welcoming is nice and kind.... so beautiful!But the best is food... Pizza are among the best I had ....dough and ingredients are fresh and tasty... i had a Corsican one with nice ham and Figatelli sausages ... Yummy!! All dishes are treats!!The terrace by the beautiful street with greens trees made the place wow! It is a rare occasion that we eat somewhere without first checking the Tripadvisor reviews, but this was one of those occasions, and having just now read the most recent reviews, I'm definitely glad that we HADN'T seen them, because we both were very happy with our lunch there. My husband had soupe au pistou, which he said was both very good and very filling. I chose the 12.90 Euro formule: a delicious, perfectly cooked salmon steak, served with rice that was unusually good - almost like risotto. For dessert (on my "formule") we shared a baba rhum, which was delicious. We left feeling thoroughly satisfied with our experience there.
Une heure d'attente pour deux pizzas, parce que la patronne donne priorité aux plats à emporter sur les clients en salle, visiblement considérés comme "captifs". Assez déplaisant… Si la pâte des pizzas est toujours excellente, la garniture est devenue banale, donc sans intérêt. Dommage, on se demande maintenant où manger une bonne pizza à Salon.

Had lunch at Au Trotteur (1/3/17),and enjoyed it immensely.We do not speak much French,so always a gamble.We found the staff to be freindly and helpful.A good salad was what we were looking for,and we were very lmpressed with our choices.Overall a very nice lunchtime experience.We will definitely return next time we are in Salon.

Went there without knowing where to eat in Salon de Provence, tried a pizza and it was not decent, but I had better ones outside Italy. Service could have been quicker.
Nous étions entre amis nous avons pris des pizzas très bonnes cuites au feu de bois. Les deux salades était correctes ainsi que le risotto.
