We popped in for Sunday lunch just as we were passing. We had had no particular recommendation and didn't have a data connection to look at TripAdvisor so we just went in.The main restaurant area was completely full, but they opened the downstairs room just for us.I asked about be a vegetarian and, despite being very busy, they cheerfully made an excellent omelette (you can always tell a restaurant from its omelettes, my grandmother used to say.)My friends had warm oysters, skate and a beef dish that included bone marrow. They said that it was all excellent.And our personal waitress (she seemed to be on there for us) was jolly, engaging and totally efficient.Thoroughly recommended.

This restaurant is just past the town hall, before the main stretch of bars and restaurants, but it's the best of the lot. There are a choice of menus where you have 3 courses for reasonable prices: we had the €20 menu plaisir both nights and between us sampled the whole selection of starters, mains and desserts. Every single one was delicious, with mussels, fish, steak. Pain perdu was a lovely pudding made of brioche bread (would recommend). The wine was also very good and the prices reasonable. The bill for 2 for 3 courses, drink to start and bottle of wine was €60. The staff are also very amenable and friendly.

We had dinner here on Friday. We chose the gourmet menu The amuse bouche and starters were good, but my wife's main course was not. The confit duck was undercooked and the vegetables overcooked. The desserts were ok, though my creme brulee was not freshly prepared and the choux pastry of the profiterole my wife had was hard. Overall, not as good as it should have been. Gourmand rather than gourmet.

Came for dinner. Took a menu for 20€ + kid's dish. The food was good but not exceptional. The service friendly but they kept messing up our orders (and the resto was almost empty). The place itself nice, I would say for a nice dinner. Prices are rather good.All in all, ok but nothing special. Book a table now

Cold atmosphere, reservation not found,service too fast, before this restaurant was more user-friendly, in addition to the menus charged to 26 instead of 38€

Calais suffers from pricey restaurants - with this exception. Food is well prepared, service is excellent. interesting wine list.

I had the cheapest Formule menu and it was very good. Service was quick and friendly though it was later in the evening.
