We dined at the Auberge de Bourgoyne on a Wednesday evening during our two week stay in the area. We arrived early and although we were the first there the reception by the waitress' (the owner we believe) was very warm welcoming. The actual...restaurant although not the largest we have dined in was set out beautifully, the table setting was laid out with the quality which the French are famous for, a bit special. There was a variety of set menus we chose the Gourmet' at only euros, the choice of food within the menu was excellent and the food was absolutely first class. The best food we had during our time in this region. The staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. There are a wide variety of menus available, and a extensive range of local wines to accompany. The restaurant has the cosy atmosphere expected from the Bourgogne.
French cuisine is not dead! the inn proves it by fresh dishes, homemade and served with good humor. You're sure to have a very good time. special mention: the black budin.
