We ate here for lunch. The place is a small, quaint restaurant built into the adjacent homes and other businesses on a very quiet street in a lovely small town. The maitresse d' is a lovely, attractive, smartly dressed lady, whom we surmise is the...owner (my French guest concurred). The restaurant is quite lovely; a little bit tavern with its exposed ceiling timbers, and a little elegant with its lovely curtains, and if it classed up its wall sconces just a bit, could be even better. The place very clean and is obviously loved. We had a full day planned, so we decided just to have an entre. I came with a group of 17 people. Mme. Degras assisted me in the planning process. She was responsive, helpful and kind in every way; accommodating vegetarians and offering choices. She also let me know ahead of time about unforeseen charges or issues. My group...cannot stop raving about each and every course. We were even treated to a free amuse bouche for the group, lovely! The young man who waited on us was professional and unobtrusive. The town is adorable and within 10 minutes drive to Vaux le Vicomte where we were doing a tour. The restaurant is a true, traditional auberge and our private room was charming and bright. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you to the whole staff!

I came with a group of 17 people. mme. degras helped me with the planning. she was in every contemplative quick, helpful and friendly; took vegetarian and offered choices. she also let me know about unforeseen accusations or problems before the time. my group. can't stop taking care of any cure. we were even treated with a free amuse bouche for the group, beautiful! the young man waiting for us was professional and inconspicuous. the city is enchanting and within 10 minutes drive to vaux le vicomte, where we made a tour. the restaurant is a true, traditional auberge and our private room was charming and bright. I had no better experience. thanks to the whole staff!

A lovely little restaurant very close to the Chateaux Vaux Le Vicomte, in a very picturesque village, Melun. We sat outside and enjoyed the chef's menu that was very good and amazingly priced, very good value. My only gripe with the place is the plastic...furniture for the outdoor seating, that should be upgraded to something better such as teak. Took a little bit away from what would otherwise have been a great experience. Book a table now

ok, this place rocks. love the ambiente and the setting in an old lock. excellent and fast service with great wine selection. we had a white burgunder. the menu is only in French speaking, but the server speaks somewhat English, but I was happy to connect to...French speaking colleagues. I had a Guinea-Fowl that was moist and tasty. must come back to check the rest of the menu. get the dessert otherwise will miss u.

I was taken to this during a visit in a local company. typical French auberge, which seemed to be out of the beaten stretch. very friendly patronne, selection of dining areas, a terrace also available. the food was well presented and showed some. flare with presentation. they did the disclosure with the holes for the main course felt that it was out of place in such a facility. good value for money, would recommend.

Ok this place rocks. Love the ambiance and setting in an old chateau. Excellent and prompt service with great wine selection. We had a white burgundy. The menu is in french only but the servers speak some english but i was lucky to joined by...french speaking colleagues. I had a guinea fowl which was moist and yummy. Will need to come back to check out the rest of the menu. Get the dessert otherwise u will miss out.

It's a Cinderella of restaurants. Something you don't expect, where you don't expect to find it. Bring your Google map app, because although the nearest city is Melun, Crisenoy is a world apart. Be prepared for a gracious welcome, an excellent menu, and near-perfect service...in a beautiful space. Prices are half those of Paris, and there's ample parking across the street. Book a table now

it is a cinderella of restaurants. something they do not expect where they do not find it. bring her google map app, because although the next city is melun, crisenoy is a world apart. be ready for a gracious reception, an excellent menu, and near-perfect service... in a beautiful room. the prices are half of paris, and there are plenty of parking on the road.
