We ate here not feeling the love our car had broken down and after 5 hours hanging around we were taken by taxi to the auberge for the night. To be honest the last thing we really wanted to do was eat good food just grab a bite and hope to get my car back in the morning. The restaurant was packed. Once we tasted the food we could see why. To really do justice the superbe cuisine of Didier Le Marechal you should avoid eating anything for a week beforehand. He won't accept that you're full and can't eat anymore! Whether it's the Pounty as a starters or the Potée as a main course (both of which I recommend) or indeed any of the other local dishes with a natural mountaineous slant, you'll want to smile and continue well beyond you're notmal intake! The choice of wines is extensive and all the prices are embarrasingly reasoanble. Try the shop for some delightful delicacies to take home too!
