Cadre magnifique, equipe dynamique sympa mais désorganisé (bcp d'attente). Nous avons pris 2 menus table d'hotes : tartare de legume : baigne dans un peu trop de sauce/creme; calamar avec sa purée de patate douce : bon produit de bonne qualité mais le mariage ne prend pas; saumon tau pesto d'épinard : trés bon; assiette du pecheur : encore des produits de grandes qualités mais auraient mérité une meilleure mise en valeur (assaisonnement : aioli...); buffet de dessert : bcp de choix mais pas d'autre gout que sucré ou gras qui ressortent... (tarte au bleuet et celle à la fraise fait à partir de gelée industrielle; chocolat decevant). Mais hotel parfait pour le reste et petit déjeuner de bonne...
This place has it all! We were only staying 1 night enroute from Ontario to PEI, but what a night we had. Even though there was a rainstorm passing through, we were able to have a drink and eats by the fireplace on the deck of the onsite pub. After the rain came and went, we watched a beautiful sunset over the St. Lawrence from the large terrace. We didn't get a chance to use the indoor pool and hot tub, but we checked them out and they looked very inviting. All of the staff were friendly and efficient, and seemed to be happy to be working there. We had a comfortable nights' sleep and our breakfast next morning was very satisfying. Would stay again if in Rivière du Loup.
The meal plan includes a 3 course table hote dinner and a very good breakfast buffet. There are lots of choices on the table hote menu. We enjoyed the sweetbreads as an appetizer. The veal medallions in white wine sauce were perfectly cooked and tender, same for the rack of lamb. Dessert was a large table with many delicious choices. The wine list was good and prices were reasonable. The dining room was very pleasant and not noisy.
We checked in to this four star hotel only to find that our room didn't have air conditioning. They were sold out that night, so we could not be moved. Luckily the manager reimbursed our stay and we found another hotel. But that would not be possible in peak season/ weekend.

L albergo ha molte stanze dislocate in piu' zone. Camera spaziosa nuova e pulita. Personale gentile e disponibile. Bellissimo il bar da dove si puo' ammirare uno splendido tramonto. Molto buona la colazione. Ci tornerei volentieri.
Bel hôtel, très bon service, un peu cher mais très bien. Bon resto, buffet déjeuner, pas de café exprsso ; machine à thé/café dans les chambres. Vues extraordinaire sur le fleuve, couché de soleil magnifique.
Une aura émane de cette auberge ... on y met les pieds et la relaxation s'impose ... le personnel est avenant, les lieux sont propres et qu'elle terrasse tout simplement exceptionnelle !
C'est un endroit à s'arrêter et relaxer. La nourriture est excellente les employés sont super gentils et respectueux. C'est un endroit de bonne classe.
