We ate dinner twice at Auberge de la Providence during our recent stay in Saint-Donat. The three-course dinner was very reasonably priced as were the a la carte items. The food is fresh and tasty, and even the house wine is excellent. Our hosts were eager to please. Saint-Donat is a bit off the beaten track, but is a good choice if staying nearby. The restaurant also offers lunch including picnic lunches to go, along with snacks and a full bar.

we have decided to have dinner here, one can highly recommend, others do the same. eat outdoors a beautiful evening with what we believe is the best of france! bouef, quiche, desserts and of course good red wine. that was from the quiet feeling. in the village of St-Donat, birds sing and sunset. they can highly recommend to visit eric and his wife.
we had a very pleasant and relaxing weekend away from the hectic in this beautiful village auberge in the heart of the magnificent mountain. would recommend everyone to relax in nature.
